The Inner Workings of a Very Complicated Cheeze.

Seth is wonderful! He brought my bag to my house so that it was there waiting for me when I got home!!! Everything is there except $1. I had a credit card cutting fest to get rid of all the old cards that were canceled. There was a note inside with a lady's name and an asu phone number on it and not in my handwriting. So today I called the number and the lady recognized me right away. She said she found my bag in the loading dock of the bookstore parking lot (which means it wasn't taken from work but somehow fell off my shoulder when I got in my mom's car because that is where she picked me up) and she works doing payroll for my department and recognized my name right away. The next day (Thursday) she brought the bag to the front desk of Computing Commons but the guy she talked to was brand new and didn't know me. What are the odds that she picked a CA who didn't know who I was? What are the odds that she did know me? So since he was new, he didn't follow ANY of our proper procedures for valueable items. First off, he should've looked in the bag for a wallet. If there is money in the wallet (which there was) it goes in the safe. Aside from that, even if he was new, if he'd looked in there, he would've saw a nametag that looks like HIS nametag. Also, he did not tell a staff member, who could've contacted me, nor did he try to look me up when Dawn said my name and that I worked there...I'm right on the schedule for goodness sakes! So, a million cheers to Dawn Bowen at ASU and a bunch of boos to the new guy who could've saved me a bunch of time and money. I will find out who he is and give him a stern talking to...I'm allowed cause I'm a supervisor :)

In other news, Mike is super for no particular reason. Nip/Tuck's season finale is next Tuesday :( and I called the policeman who helped me with my bag and reporting it, etc and told him and thanked him...so...case closed. And there was much rejoicing in the GWC.
