My sea monkeys have all died. :( They are suppose to live for 2 years according to the package and I did eveything the instructions said to. Now I am down to only 5 pets.
Coffe Plantation on Mill Ave. SUCKS ASS. Do not buy from there so maybe they'll close down. I had a meeting with people from the student organization I belong to: The Gamer's Society. Not only did only 1 other person show up (Tiffany, the Game Master and our fearless leader) but the service was unbelievably horrible. When I went to order, the guy who was taking my order was talking to this ditsy blonde in between taking my order. I am not customer service person of the month, but at least I don't make the customer take turns talking to me and a visiting friend. Then, since it wasn't listed on their food menu, I asked how much a plain bagel. He looked it up and told me $1.60. "For what? I did say a PLAIN BAGEL," I exclaimed. He said that it comes with all this extra crap. I said I just want a plain bagel, and he said I had to get the extra crap. So forget it, I'll live with just a hot chocolate. I order and pay and sit back down at the table that is barely 10 feet from the counter. For the next 10 minutes I wait and wait, and see them not doing much with that weirdo guy with bad customer service staring at me every once in a while. I finally go up there and ask where my hot chocolate was. They say, "Oh the abandoned one, we've been calling and calling and calling you." I point at my chair, "I've been sitting there the entire time and neither myself or the person I am with heard so oviously you need to do more than a whisper." Plus that stupid guy was staring at me. I know you are suppose to be nice to your food service providers, but these idiots were over the line. Plus, even after sitting by itself for 10 minutes, the hot chocolate still burned my mouth. Beh. So yeah, don't go there, hopefully together, we can put them out of business.
My dad finally reached an agreement with a leasing company downtown and its official, he's starting up a greek restaurant. So there will finally be GOOD gyros sandwiches in Arizona (they just can't seem to make them right here). Go to Oakland Gyros in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to eat authentic greek food. Well, at least until the restaurant is open downtown here. :)
The tenant revolt is down to civil talks but the battle is far from over. Peace negotiations still have to be set up and negotiated. Additionally, I'm still not comfortable going home. I spent nearly all the weekend at Mike's house to get away from the bullshit.
I heard that Tracy and James moved into their new house in the desert this past weekend. I cannot wait to see it! The pics posted on their website have made it look pretty neato. Go you guys! Owning has its pain in the asses, but its cheaper than renting. And no stupid office people telling me that I can't have cats or I have to pay extra for them. Speaking of which, I cannot wait to refinance, which is allowed on January 1st, 2006 - because of the prepayment penalty. Lower payments=happy. I also want a dog when I have more time to walk it. So many ideas floating in my head, not enough money to support them. I finally found a curtain rod long enough to fit my bedroom window (went to 5 different stores that only went to 84 inches) and I turned my ghetto pushpinned bedsheets on the window into some very pretty, snazy curtains that keep me fairly light-tight like I like it.
I am on the 2nd chapter of the Undead Campaign in Warcraft 3. I have also made significant progress on Peak 2 of SSX3. With my birthday monies from my dad, I bought DDR Max and the dance pad. Exercise while playing games and listening to techno/dance, doesn't get much better than this. More gaming coming soon.
