I've messaged 92 people on roommates.com, got 4 replies, 1 who actually set up a time to come look at the house, called during that time saying he had to go to work early, set up a new time and then never showed. This is quite irritating, it shouldn't be this hard to find someone!
My knee decided to act up again today, it is quite sore and a bit swollen but at least I can walk without crutches. I was showing Chris2 how to do the hip part of belly dancing because he couldn't do it. I told him just let your hips follow your knees...and then my knee cap followed my hip while the rest of my knee stayed put. As always it immediately returned to its rightful place but a little damage has been done. Luckily I had barely any weight on it when it happened! Odd thing is that my other (left) knee has been hurting all week...this is so confusing! I either have 2 bad knees, or my left one is having pre-emptive sympathy pains. Whee, hobling all over ASU!! Not that this is new, my freshman year of high school I sprained my right knee 3 times in 5 months, the first 1 wasn't too bad, though I'll never go ice skating again, I could still walk that night. The other 2 times, I tore the ligament (same one) and was on crutches for a week and physical therapy for 2 months. Then I did it again my freshman year of college, approx. Nov. '98 during a fencing match. I'm afraid to be a freshman again. Is there a freshman of Graduate school?
I came home yesterday to a house that was freezing, horray for air conditioning! Its finally fixed! Last night it was 65 degrees in the house! It makes me so happy.
Rat experiment is chugging along. I'm on the final day of the 1st (of 2) parts of the actual experiment, as opposed to training. I should be done by Sunday, assuming everything goes ok. So far the evidence from the trials everyday have provided much empiracle support of my hypothesis: "Animals communicate and can tell each other how to solve puzzles or problems even if they don't do it thru observing each other". My teacher is very intriged with my work and how its going, she even requested that I email her some of the stats that I have. I smell a very high A headed towards me; this paper is worth more than 2 tests worth of points.
Aileen's dad did my taxes and said "ok" when I told him to get his $50 from Aileen who owes me a good deal of $$ from taking off. I said she can pay half a months rent plus a cleaning fee since she didn't clean the whole thing which comes to $230 OR I can take her to court for breaking her lease and that grand total with court costs is prolly over $1000. She can pick which one she wants to pay...I am still being too nice, I know. On the negative side, instead of getting $900 back like I was expecting, I get to pay about $100. This would be a good time to mention the big money troubles I'm experiencing because of the stupid AC and meanie-head Aileen. I will have to review all the paperwork tax crap and make sure I understand why its about a thousand less than I was expecting. I'm so stressed. I need hugs. Please send me hugs. I can't wait til this semester is over and I'm making boat loads of money and everything will be happier in the realm of owing money.
